No. There is no fee for obtaining a trademark registration certificate in China. Currently, trademark registration certificates in China are issued electronically, and paper certificates are no longer issued.
- If the applicant submitted the application independently through the online system, the CNIPA will deliver the certificate directly to the applicant’s account in the Trademark Online Application System. The applicant can log in to download it.
- If the application was filed through an agency, the trademark registration certificate will be delivered to the agency’s account. The agency will download it and forward it to the applicant.
- If the application was submitted in person, the applicant will receive a Notification for Collecting the Trademark Registration Certificate by mail from the CNIPA. The certificate can then be downloaded according to the instructions in the notification.
No payment is required when downloading the certificate.
