What is the procedure for entrusting a China trademark agency to handle trademark registration in China?

After receiving trademark registration application documents submitted by a China trademark agency, the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) will examine the application documents. If the application formalities are complete, the documents are filled out in accordance with regulations, and the fees are paid, CNIPA will accept the application. If the application formalities are incomplete, the documents are not filled out as required, or the fees are not paid, CNIPA will not accept the application.

If the application formalities are basically complete or the application documents are substantially compliant but require rectification, CNIPA will notify the applicant to make corrections. The applicant must rectify the application according to the specified content and return it to CNIPA within 30 days from the date of receiving the notice. If rectified and returned within the specified period, the application date will be retained. If no rectification is made by the deadline or the rectification does not comply with the requirements, CNIPA will not accept the application.

The Rectification Notice for Trademark Registration Application, Non-Acceptance Notice for Trademark Registration Application, Fee Payment Notice for Trademark Registration Application, and Acceptance Notice for Trademark Registration Application will be delivered to the trademark agency.
